Our Story
We not only make great handcrafted products but help our artisans build a brighter future for their families by breaking the shackles of poverty through training and employment.

Education for All
Empowering Women through art to support Sustainable Lifestyles. We not only make great handcrafted products but help our artisans build a brighter future for their families by breaking the shackles of poverty through training and employment.
Our Mission
At Happy Cultures, we believe in two things: empowering women and preserving mother nature. That’s why all our products are handcrafted by local women artisans in a village near the city of Prayagraj (formerly known as Allahabad), and there is no machinery involved in the manufacturing process.
We are targeting two goals with one business: providing employment to women artists and producing sustainable products. We are on a mission to empower our artisans and shed light on their age-old craft while also keeping our planet happy through slow manufacturing.
Since our inception, we have impacted the lives of more than 550+ artisan families and have built a sustainable community with them.

Understanding is Key
Each Happy Cultures product is handwoven with the utmost precision and care by the expert craftswomen in the Gangetic Plains of Uttar Pradesh. Across farming communities, we are working to create jobs for underprivileged and build a foundation for positive community transformation
“Educate a woman, educate a generation.”

Know Our Founder
Piyush Agrawal, being the elder son of a business-class family, was expected to step into the family business. But he chose his own destiny by pursuing an engineering degree and working as a design engineer in the automobile industry.
During a visit to a village 16 km away from Prayagraj, Piyush saw and met the local handicraft artisans. That is when the desire to bring Indian rural craft and culture into the public eye ignited within him. He used his knowledge and experience of operational structure and manufacturing processes to start his entrepreneurial journey.
By creating unique designs, promoting sustainable practices, and giving employment to women, he hopes to bring consumers’ attention to the craftsmanship of our Indian artisans.
That is how Happy Cultures was born. A social enterprise that runs on the ethos of community building and collaborative work.
From its inception, he has focused on three pillars: Learn, Earn, and Grow.
Turning women into breadwinners not only builds self-esteem but improves their standing in the community and enables them to pool resources and improve infrastructure.

Learn
We focus on further developing and up-skilling the women in the community. Learning keeps the cycle of their growth ongoing. It increases their employability, which not only safeguards their present but also safeguards their future.

Earn
While charity is a noble deed, it is not enough to fight social inequalities. Happy Culture believes in making women capable enough to earn a fair standard of living for themselves and their loved ones. We give a platform to women to stand on their feet.

Grow
Through this initiative, our artists are able to form communities, support each other, and financially grow together. We believe that real growth happens through collaboration, not competition. At Happy Cultures, we learn together and grow together for a better future.
Be A Part Of The Change.
